EMDAS Master Seminars 2024
Mind the gap: self-change from addiction and the treatment response.
Justyna Klingemann
During the upcoming lecture and discussion, we will be exploring the topic of addiction and the various ways to overcome it. Our focus will be on answering two important questions: How many ways are there to get out of addiction? And, how much treatment does one need to recover? Additionally, we will be discussing the user-friendliness of the treatment system.
Moderated by Franca Beccaria (EMDAS Deputy Director)
Justyna Klingemann, sociologist of health and medicine, is head of the Department of Health Sociology and Addiction Research at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Warsaw, Poland, and current President of the Kettil Bruun Society for Social and Epidemiological Research on Alcohol.
